Golden Gate Park
located at 756 Stanyan street, the park offers a botanical garden that hosts six thousand plant species.  Also located in the park is the Japanese Tea Garden which offers a variety of cherry blossoms.  There is also an original Dutch windmill located in the park!  Inside the park you can also find the Asian Art Museum, The De Young Museum memorial, and an array of traveling shows that are rotated on a daily basis.  Also playing at the park April 18 through October, is the Golden Gate Park Band, which hits the bandstand every Sunday at 12:30-3:30pm.

Union Square Park
located in Union Square this park is newly renovated with performance spaces for different acts, grassy terraces and new paintings.  There is also a café for some “al Fresco” dining.  Also, stop by the “Tix Outlet” that offers half price tickets on local theatre shows.

Washington Square Park
This beautiful little park is located next to little Italy and offers lots of space to play!

Dolores Park
This park is a “kid friendly” park that includes a clubhouse, a play area, as well as a separate play area for dogs!  It is located between 18th street and Dolores street.

Alamo Square Park-
Swing and play at this playgrounds brand new children’s area, nestled in in between Steiner and Hayes street.  There is also spacious green grass perfect for a picnic!
